Supplementary Programs will be offered frequently, but not on a regular basis:

  • Bonus (5th) Sunday: a one day retreat with 6-8 hours of meditation, mindful meditation hall cleanup, and a sandwich lunch
  • Bonus (5th) Wednesday: 8pm fundraising soup supper (following regular 1 hour sitting practice) – donations appreciated!
  • Sadhana of Mahamudra: at full and new moons
  • The Path of Meditation and Self-Discovery: 6-8 weekly sessions on the foundations of Buddhism, the Four Noble Truths, and the Eight Fold Path
  • The Path of Wisdom and Compassion: 6-8 weekly sessions on the Mahayana
  • The Indestructible Path: 6-8 weekly sessions on the Vajrayana
  • Mindful Movement: 8-form Yang style Tai Chi, a 6-week program 2-3 times per year
  • Buddhist Festival observances: for example Vesakha Day, celebrating the birth, life, and paranirvana of the Buddha
